St. Francis Clinic (Koumbidia)

The St. Francis Clinic of Koumbidia is at the service of all sectors of the population with priority given to the most disenfranchised without distinction of race or religion. Convinced that it is better to prevent than to cure, the Sisters offer health education and access to quality care for all. Koumbidia has a total population of 4,166 inhabitants, mostly poor and with many malnourished children. The Sisters are unable to be present every day at the Clinic due to the wide area in which they work, so they have trained Community Healthcare Agents who are able to guarantee basic healthcare.

Needs: Financial support is needed as the clinic is unable to take on this expense. Funding to support supplies & materials, and healthcare agents salaries.
